Yes, all our wax, fragrance oils and wicks are vegan friendly. We will never use materials that are derived from animal products.

Natural waxes have character as we like to say. 100% natural plant wax has some imperfections. At Íon Candle Co. we like to see these imperfections as a personality of the wax. The burn and consistency are not affected nor the quality. You may notice some cracking on the candle surface which often happens after the candle has cooled after pouring. We do our best to minimise this with a second top up pour and resetting the top of the candle. Each Íon Candle is hand poured from a small batch so wax weight can vary slightly.

We currently offer 3 sizes; Medium (M), Large (L) and Extra Large (XL). Our candles are hand poured into a heavy base whiskey style glass with a white gloss finish. Each medium glass candle is filled with ~165g of luxury fragrance and wax which will offer ~ 30HRS of burn time. Our large candle is filled with ~ 220g and will offer ~ 45HRS burn time. Each Íon Candle is hand poured from a small batch so wax weight can vary slightly.

Our cotton and linen wicks offer excellent rigidity, as well as minimising afterglow and smoking. Ensure you trim your wick to ¼ inch before each use for the best results.

Absolutely! Clean out any remaining wax and remove the wick with a gentle nudge and you’ve got a new makeup brush holder, a new planter or whatever you want; endless options to choose from in keeping with our sustainability promise.
